Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website, online booking system, and mobile application (together, the "Services") operated by Veloura SugarWax Bar Inc. ("Veloura," "we," "us," or "our"), a hair removal salon located at 7611 Pine Valley Dr, Unit 7, Woodbridge, ON L4L 0A2, Canada. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Accounts and Sign-In

You can browse our Services without an account. Booking an appointment requires signing in with a one-time code sent to your phone number or email address — we do not use passwords. You are responsible for maintaining access to the phone number or email you sign in with, and for the accuracy of the information on your profile.

You may delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen or at velourasugarwax.ca/profile. Deleting your account deactivates your profile and signs you out of all devices; signing back in with the same phone or email lets you reactivate it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal information.

2. Bookings and Appointments

  • Appointment times are subject to availability and are confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation.
  • Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or rescheduling at our discretion.
  • We may contact you about your appointment by SMS, email, or push notification (for example, booking confirmations and schedule changes).

3. Cancellations and No-Shows

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us at +1 (437) 494-0020 as early as possible. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in restrictions on future online booking.

4. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.
  • Payment is made in person at the salon. We do not process payments through the website or the mobile app.
  • Prices and service offerings may change at any time; the price shown when you book applies to that booking.

5. Maintenance Pricing

Some services offer a reduced "maintenance" price for returning clients who re-book within a stated window of a qualifying visit. Maintenance eligibility is determined automatically by our booking system based on your completed appointment history and the applicable window for each service. Maintenance pricing is a promotional benefit — it may be modified or discontinued at any time, and it has no cash value.

6. Health and Suitability

Hair removal services may not be suitable for everyone. Please inform us of any skin conditions, allergies, medications (such as retinoids), or other health considerations before your treatment. We may decline or modify a service where we believe it would not be safe or appropriate. Any notes you choose to share when booking are used only to prepare for your visit.

7. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the Services to make fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith bookings.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or their underlying systems.
  • Do not use the Services on behalf of another person without their consent.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the Veloura name, logo, photography, and all content, are owned by or licensed to Veloura SugarWax Bar Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services except as necessary for your personal, non-commercial use of them.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep booking information accurate and the Services running smoothly, we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veloura SugarWax Bar Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under Ontario consumer protection legislation.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
